Project Overview

Located in the picturesque coastal village of Shemlan, Lebanon The West Hills offers it's visitors a luxurious stay in their range of furnished apartments.

The project brief established the need for a simple yet well thought out webpage, that would enable customers interested in visiting, to explore the available apartments and their features, submit booking requests as well as discover the feedback of regular and returning guests to the West Hills and surrounding area.

Apartment showcase

Showcasing every apartment elegantly while keeping visitors contained within a single page called for a simple but impactful solution. A visual thumbnail menu paired with a carousel let visitors select any apartment and see its own specifications and image gallery, giving it the same presentation it would get on a dedicated page of its own, just without ever leaving the page.

Booking requests

The West Hills wanted visitors to be able to submit booking requests directly through the site, with the option to specify custom requirements that would make their stay more memorable. The form let customers request the apartment they'd already been browsing, add specific services like maid service and airport transfer, and still get in touch for more general enquiries, all through the same form rather than a separate email exchange.

Outcome

Consolidating browsing, requests and guest feedback onto one page shortened the distance between a visitor landing on the site and actually submitting a request. Removing friction from that step was the brief's central goal, and it shows in a page that asks nothing of a visitor beyond what they came to do, look at apartments, ask for one, and see what past guests thought.
